Feeling it in Your Bones?

Metaphorically, ‘feeling something in your bones’ alludes to intuition. Physically, perhaps it’s more about the feelings we experience in our joints than in our bones, right? Either way the days are gone when bone and joint pain has to be endured. Better still, is the fact that there are effective pain-relieving organic creams, ointments, oils, and balms that the skin absorbs into joints and bones.  Let’s explore this a little.

Bone pain

Skip this section if you’re young. Bone pain is usually an indicator of decreasing bone density, which is a common condition experienced with growing older. Bone density tends to decrease with reduced activity. Overuse, injuries and bone fracturing become more frequent.

If you are young however, and you are experiencing bone pain, a deep penetrating pin that is likely worse at night, or at least when moving the affected limb, it could indicate an underlying issue, such as an injury-induced pain, an interruption in blood supply or it could be a sign of infection. Make no mistake, these require immediate medical attention.

Joint pain

Common to the extreme, joint pain can affect people of all ages and stations in life. Because they are the connectors between our bones, pain from injury, ageing or disease is felt very quickly and is easy to pinpoint.

Knee pain is the most common, followed in short succession by shoulder and hip pain. But seriously, joint pain is possible from our feet to our hands.

Bone and Joint Pain Protocols

Besides cases requiring medical intervention, WebMD recommends the remedial techniques known by the PRICE acronym as follows;

  • Protect the joint with a brace or wrap.
  • Rest the joint, avoiding any activities that cause you pain.
  • Ice the joint for about 15 minutes, several times each day.
  • Compress the joint using an elastic wrap.
  • Elevate the joint above the level of your heart.

We are going to suggest that the acronym become PRICES, and add;

  • Supersalve’s organic balms and ointments, applied to any bone or joint pain, speeds the healing process.

In short, there is little gain in enduring bone or joint pain, it only drains the body of the energy it would better use toward repair and recuperation. Arthritic pain is genuinely well-relieved by organic preparations. Every home should have a tub of Supersalve All-care Balm in the first-aid box to use for all occasions.
